Eileen Kelly
Eileen Kelly has worked full-time as a professional counsellor and advocate for over twenty-five years.
Eileen is a fully trained and accredited counsellor with the RCNI she also gained with the Central School Of Counselling & Therapy, Certificates in Counselling Theory and Counselling Practice.
Eileen began her career in her teens as a human rights campaigner for victims of the conflict when she spoke in Europe and the USA against the use of Plastic Bullets following the murder of her 12 year old sister.
Eileen has also represented Northern Ireland at International bodies and conferences on sexual violence and childhood abuse.
Eileen is presently is a volunteer with the Rape Crisis & Sexual Abuse Centre.

Eileen is a fully trained and accredited counsellor with the RCNI. Eileen gained an MSSc (Irish Studies) from QUB (dissertation on the aftermath of rape.) She also holds certificates from the Central School of Counselling & Therapy in Counselling Theory and Practice and a certificate from UU in Advice and Counselling.
Eileen has worked with her colleagues campaigning for women’s rights, human rights and more specifically for the rights of survivors of sexual violence and abuse. She has spoken on these issues at home and abroad in training workshops, conferences and in the media.
Eileen Calder and her colleague Eileen Kelly are the longest serving rape crisis counsellors in the UK and Ireland, both have only recently begun to work in private practice.
Eileen is presently is a volunteer with the Rape Crisis & Sexual Abuse Centre.
